Why does chatting require energy?

As we are a small team, unlike large companies with substantial funds, we incur significant costs when running language models (especially since the models we currently run have a large number of parameters). To ensure the long-term and stable operation of Hi,Waifu, we have reluctantly introduced an "Energy System". This system not only restricts user abuse but also provides us with some funds. If one day we find a more cost-effective way to operate, we may cancel the energy system.

Is there a limit to the number of bots one can create?

Currently, there is no limit. However, if you violate our community guidelines, we may restrict your ability to create bots.

What AI model is Hi,Waifu currently using?

Currently we use two models, namely SpiritCraft (靈工) and JadeSpeech (玉辭).

Can the bot creator view my chat messages?

No, the creator cannot view your chat messages.

How many people are currently working for the site?

Currently, Hi,Waifu is driven by a dedicated team of five members. This team is led by our founder, Tao, who serves as the pillar of our entire initiative.

However, our team isn't limited to just the core members. We are fortunate to be backed by an integral group of community helpers on Discord. These volunteer individuals dedicate their time and energy to monitor our community, aid in its expansion, and ensure it remains a safe and welcoming space for all. Their contribution is immeasurable. Collectively, we all work towards delivering an outstanding role-playing experience.

Why was my chatbot set to private?

Your chatbot might be configured to private if it is concluded that the original creation wasn't yours. At Hi,Waifu, we place a high emphasis on creativity and originality, indicating that public chatbots must be distinct creations of their users. If you've imported a bot from another user, we request that you keep these bots set to "Private". If you think your bot was mistakenly set to private, please raise a ticket on our Discord server here. Our moderation team will be happy to help you.

Why was my chatbot deleted?

Chatbots might be removed if they breach our Terms of Service (TOS), which strictly forbid the portrayal of underage characters and content that is offensive, sensitive, distressing, or outright creepy. For more comprehensive information, please see our guidelines.

My chatbot was incorrectly deleted! What should I do?

If you believe your chatbot was wrongly deleted, please send an email to [email protected] and describe the reason.

I accidently deleted my account. How can I recover it?

Sorry, we are unable to restore deleted accounts at this time. But you can still use your email address to register a new account.

If I've deleted my account, am I able to use the same email address to register again?

Yes, you can still use your email address to register a new account.
